Welcome. I’m Janice Webber.

I am an abstract artist whose work lives at the intersection of realism and possibility. Inspired by the ever-changing rhythms of the ocean, the land, and life itself, my paintings explore the surreal, the symbolic, and the emotional landscapes that exist just beneath the surface of what we see.

Through oil, mixed media, photography, pottery, and wearable art, I create more than beautiful visuals. I create portals. Each piece invites reflection, connection, and a return to what matters most.

Nature, particularly the ocean, is both my muse and my mirror. Its movement, depth, and resilience inform my work, offering a visual language for transformation, presence, and inner stillness. My art is not meant to be rushed. It is meant to be felt.
At the heart of my practice is a belief that art can heal, elevate, and protect. A portion of my work supports ocean conservation efforts, allowing each creation to become not only a story on canvas, but a ripple of change beyond it.

This is art as sanctuary.
This is art as remembrance.
This is art as a living relationship between colour, emotion, and the natural world.
