Painting Inspiration: This painting started with my interest and being intrigued by Narwhals. They have a horn - what is it for? The interesting moons of last year and this as there are supermoons and micromoons. The Universe and all those nebula. When I discovered on called the Lagoon Nebula, I just new it had to be in a painting.

Painting Inspiration:
I love hiking in the mountains around British Columbia and Alberta. The Mountains are so high and they often surround lakes which look quite greeny blue in colour. I took artistic license and made the mountains using surrealism instead of just realism. This painting is framed in gold which enhances the colours - see additional photo.
